What is CPR?

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving technique used during cardiac arrest when the heart stops beating.

CPR helps: Maintain blood flow to the brain and vital organs Increase survival chances until emergency responders arrive Restore breathing and circulation when combined with AED use

Key Components of CPR: Chest compressions (100–120 per minute) Rescue breaths (in full CPR) AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use

Immediate CPR can double or triple survival rates

WHAT IS BLS?

Basic Life Support (BLS) is a higher-level CPR certification designed for healthcare professionals and trained responders.

BLS training includes:

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • AED use in clinical and emergency settings

  • Team-based resuscitation techniques

  • Airway management and ventilation

BLS is required for:
